Derrick Spangler, Certified Fiber Removal Specialist from Floyd County is coming this year on October 26th. Derrick has been shearing sheep, llamas, and alpacas professionally for over 20 years. Lily Comer is a small-town girl with big dreams. Lily, originally from Welch, WV, was raised in Bluefield, Virginia. This talented singer/songwriter/musician has taken the industry by storm! Lily’s sound has been influenced by Patsy Cline, Loretta Lynn, Hank Williams, Sr., Tammy Wynette, Johnny Cash, Dolly Parton, and more! Lily has been playing professionally since the age of 14.

Kyle Edgell is dedicated to helping people have the capacity to see fun and express humor both as a source of entertainment and means of coping with difficult or awkward situations and stressful events. As a Caricature Entertainer, Certified Humor Professional and Laughter Yoga Leader she has spent decades transforming how people view themselves and others using art, play and laughter to increase social connection, understanding and community. Evidence based research shows that practicing humor and laughter can boost our ability to experience life with optimism, enhancing physical, and emotional well-being.

Virginia Tech A Cappella Groups at Sinkland Farms Pumpkin Festival: Soulstice - an all-women a capella 🎶

Soulstice A Cappella is Virginia Tech's premier all-women acapella group founded in 1998. The group consists of 17 members, ranging from freshman to senior year. While music is what brought us all together, the girls in Soulstice come from many different backgrounds—creating a diverse group of women who sing with soul and pursue a wide range of academic endeavors. Recently, we released our second EP, Soul Searching, in September. It is available for listening on all streaming platforms! Our annual Pumpkin Festival is truly something to write home about! We are celebrating our 33rd anniversary during the 2024 season and are making sure this will be a year to remember. Attracting folks from miles around, we bring out the best of the farm during our traditional pumpkin harvest. While our pumpkin patch is the star of the show, we offer five weekends jam-packed with activities, music, food, and fun you won’t want to miss.

Venture on a hayride or enjoy a relaxing nature stroll to 10 acres of pumpkin patch, meander through the corn maze, watch the pigs race, and breathe in the fresh country air while gazing upon five acres of sunflowers at the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Children may enjoy our Kidz-Zone which includes a zip-line, giant slides and jumping pad, swings, ropes course, spider climber, and so much more! Skip over to see farm-ily, friendly animals, horseback trails & pony rides, walking trails, and The Tuscan Pond. Adult beverages are served on the Tuscan Terrace. Meet at The Cottage Shoppe for ice cream, kettle corn, jams, and goodies, live music, local artisans & food vendors to delight!
